It's been ages since I have updated (exactly a year ago). My mom is very lazy helping me update my xanga, but I asked her if she could update my blog with some birthday pictures of me.

Hello world! Today is my birthday!!! I turned 2 human years old today .

Mommy and daddy bought me lots of treats from the Three Dog Bakery. I ate all the icing off the cake but haven't finished my cake yet... Then auntie Cricket came by and gave me more treats from the Three Dog Bakery. Yummy!

I had lots of treats today. I wish it was my birthday everyday! I even played a bit of fetch in the apartment hallway. You should see me run after the mini tennis ball. I'm very speedy for a little dog like me .

Anyhoo, it is getting late and I am getting pooped from celebrating my birthday. Just wanted to let everybody know that I had a fun time today and that I'm a big boy now because I'm 2 years old!

Hello world! It has been so long since I have done a doggy update. My mommy has been extremely busy so she always keeps putting it off. Well, I haven't been that busy but too bad I cannot type...

As usual, I am a happy puppy. Actually, I am over 1.5 years old and should no longer be considered a puppy! I am a big dog now!

Mommy and daddy take me to daycare every Thursdays. I get very excited when I go to daycare as I love playing with my doggy friends. The humans at the daycare are also very nice and always give me treats.

Almost every week, I also visit my grandmas and grandpas. I go to their homes (one is mommy's old home and the other is daddy's old home) and I always get excited when I go there. Both my grandmas love me very much and give me lots of treats when I visit!

Christmas time is approaching soon. I can tell because we have a tree up in our living room. This year they didn't get a real tree so it does not smell very nice. Well, at least I will not have the urge to pee near it...

Anyhow, it is getting really late. Way too late for a doggy to stay up at this hour. I need my doggy nap so I can play again tomorrow. If my mommy doesn't help me update anytime soon, I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hello world! How are you? I am doing just fine. I had a pretty good weekend. I hung out with my friend Dodgy and she got to come over to my place to chill. She is such a curious doggy. Just like me I suppose, but of course I am more mature than her so I know not to sniff/eat anything that I am not supposed to (well, OK - maybe I still have to practice on that).

Oh also, apparently she is not toilet trained so mommy got a bit mad at Dodgy when she peed on my bed! Well, I was a bit upset too, but I still sleep on it somehow. I just sleep at the other end where there is no pee smell. Besides, mommy put some Nature's Miracle on it so the pee smell should be gone anyway. Good thing I don't pee inside the home or mommy and daddy will get mad! I guess it is a good thing that I am toilet trained.

Auntie Cricket also came to visit me and she bought me treats! They were for my birthday, but since she couldn't be there (she was away in Asia) she gave me my birthday treats on Sunday. It was some pretty yummy stuff from the Three Dog Bakery! I love treats!!

Hello world! It's me, Solomon here. Well, I went to day care today and I am so pooped now. Just wanted to write a short entry here to let you know that I am doing just fine!

I went to a BBQ on the weekend for one of daddy's co-worker's birthday. It was rather fun.

Sunday, I hung out with my friend Dodgy the pug while mommy and daddy went to Father's Day dinner. That was fun too!

I have also been getting into a bit of trouble lately... I have been eating some of mommy's stuff and she seems to get mad at me about it. I can't help it. I see small things and I like to chew them even if they do not taste good. Let's see, I chewed up one of mommy's dog toys, swallowed an iron-on applique, and chewed up one of her dolly's shoes . I guess I need to smarten up and stop eating stuff that isn't mine. But how do I tell what I can and cannot chew? This is all too confusing for a small dog like me...

Anyhow, here is a pic of me trying something called Smirnoff. Mommy thinks, "This dog is definitely a 'Chan'!"

And look at me, I can drive too. Pretty talented, don't you think?

Hello world! How are you? I am just doing SUPER! Today (June 6th) is my 1 (human) year old birthday! I had so much fun!!

I got to sleep in mommy and daddy's bed (they don't always let me on) last night. I got a special pepperoni treat this morning. It's the first time I had it and boy was it yummy!

I also went to the beach and met some new buddies there! So fun! I love the beach. But I am not too crazy about the cold water... I was so dirty from the beach that daddy gave me a bath after the beach. Not too sure how I feel about a bath on my birthday though...

Then for dinner, I got some yummy Cesar's dog food. I never get that stuff! The only other time I had it was at Christmastime. *slurp* And then for dessert, I got my very one pupcake! I'm so special .

Anyhow, it is very late now. Actually it's past my birthday now since it's past midnight. I just had to update this special for you all. I love birthdays! I can't wait till next year!!! *woof*

Hello world! It's me again. It's been so long since I last updated! Once again, mommy has been lazy and has not helped me update until now. But I am glad to be back now! *woof*

Well, mommy and daddy went away to Hawaii for a week while I got to stay at mommy's parents place (at her mommy and daddy's) for a bit. Then I also hung out with auntie Cricket on the weekend. When I saw mommy and daddy last Sunday, I didn't know whether to be happy or mad. I think I was a bit upset that they left me and had so much fun in that Hawaiian place. What's so fun about it without me??? Anyhoo, I am over that now and I am glad that mommy and daddy are back with me.

Mommy and daddy took me for a walk to Granville Island today. It was Victoria day today which is a holiday, which means that daddy and mommy don't have to work (which is a good thing because they get to hang with me). Mommy went camera happy and took lots of pics. She was even trying out the black & white and the sepia setting on the camera. Looks like she had a lot of fun!

Well, tomorrow is Tuesday which is only 2 days away from Thursday... And Thursday means DAYCARE day!!! I love daycare. Can't wait to meet my doggy friends again. Okie dokie, I am so pooped now so I'm gonna go rest up. Goodnight everybody! *woof*

Hello world! It's been so long since I have updated this little blog of mine. I hope you guys still visit here. Sorry for the long wait. I guess mommy is always too busy with her xanga site and tends to forget to help me update .

So what is up with me? Hmm, nothing in particular I suppose. I have been a good puppy lately. Been hanging out with mommy and daddy a lot. They take me to parks more often because of the nice weather. I love walks to the park! I also love how there is so much sunshine nowadays. I love to sunbathe...

I was sick for a bit but I am much better these days. I guess I have to learn not to eat everything in sight! It's so hard though. Everything looks so yummy...

I have been going to daycare every Thursday now. It's so fun there. I usually come home pooped afterwards. There are other dachshunds at the daycare too. I love the doggy daycare! I always get so excited when mommy and daddy drive me there.

Mommy likes to take a lot of pictures of me. I think she's rather crazy with her camera. She takes way too many pictures of me. But I guess I'm a good looking dog for her to take so many pics of me . What do you think?

Anyhow, it is getting rather late now. Way past my bedtime! So I should go soon.

Hello world! It's Solomon here. How is everybody doing? My mommy finally has some time to update my blog here. She's so preoccupied with her own xanga page that she often forgets about mine.

Anyhow, just wanted to update all of you about what's been going on in my doggy life...

This week, I have been playing a lot with my new friend Dodgie. She is a 3 month old pug that lives in our building. Her daddy Andrew sometimes calls my daddy so that I can go out and play with Dodgie. We like to play outside in the backyard area where it is fenced off. That way, both of us are allowed to be offleash! We love to explore together! There are so many interesting smells in the garden. It's so fun! At one point, this lady even came out of her place and got mad at us for stepping on her flowers (whoops!). But Dodgie and I were naughty and then ran inside her place (since the door was open) and did a bit of chasing inside this neighbours home. Heeheehee. Dodgie and I have such fun together! I think she is my new best friend now .

I also get to play with Bailey sometimes too. I only see him once every 2 weeks though. Although last week, I saw him twice. Bailey and I play rougher than Dodgie and I play. I guess I have to be gentler with the ladies .

Besides Dodgie and Bailey, I get to play with the dogs at the daycare every Thursday. Mommy and daddy bring me to daycare once a week. It's so fun hanging out there too. I always get so pooped when I return home from daycare!

Today, mommy and daddy took me to the Tisol pet store. Mommy and daddy bought me so much new stuff! I am so excited. I got a brand new cushion (it was on sale apparently) and a new jacket! Mommy is going to help me post some pictures of the stuff below (see how talented she is! ). Mommy and daddy also bought me some new food. Apparently I am switching from puppy food to adult food. Wow! Does that mean I am no longer a puppy anymore?

Okie-dokie, it's getting late for me. I am getting sleepy too... I am going to take a nap on my new cushion now! Have a super duper wonderful doggy-filled weekend! *arf*
